Spiritual
Uses: The braided, dried leaves are used by the Native Americans
to purify and cleanse.
Sweet Grass is burned
alone as well as with Cedar, Sage and Tobacco. |
Physical
Uses: This perennial grows at the edges of fens, bogs, ponds,
and marshes all over North America.
The grass leaves give
off a wonderful vanilla scent as they dry.
Small baskets are also
made from the strands of grass.
