Spiritual
Uses: A Druid Sacred Herb.
Used at Midsummer to
protect, to promote love and to heal. Add its strength to incenses
for these intentions.

Physical
Uses: Heather has compounds that mildly constrict the blood
vessels and so is useful to raise blood pressure and relieve migraines.
Found to be helpful for
pain from rheumatism and stomach aches.
Relieves insomnia.

Preparation:
TEA:
- Boil ½ cup
of water. Allow to sit for 30 seconds.
- Add 1 teaspoonful
of chopped herb. Stir briefly and cover.
- Allow to
steep for 10 minutes.
- Strain out
the herb and discard.
- Sweeten to
taste with honey.
- Dosage: ½
cup before bedtime, to ease insomnia.
